The Columbia Fiber Arts of South Carolina guild meets each month on the second Saturday of the month. The monthly meetings are held at 10 am in the Richland Library - Sandhills, Makers Room (763 Fashion Dr, Columbia, SC 29223)
November 9, 2019
Our topic this month is felting. We will be using heat and agitation to turn loose wool into balls for your dryer.
Wool dryer balls are great replacements for dryer sheets. They increase fluffiness and reduce static electricity without adding chemicals or creating waste. Good for your wallet and for the planet.
Bring your recently finished or "in progress" projects for show and tell. It is always inspiring to see what other members are working on!
We are thinking about the spring schedule. What would you like to learn in the new year? What skill or technique would you like to share with the guild?
