May Guild Program

May 11, 2019

We will be discussing the properties of different fibers and how they are transformed from their natural state into yarn that can be used for knitting, crochet or other projects.  Drop spindles and wheels will be demonstrated and participants will have an opportunity to try them out.

If you have a spinning wheel or a drop spindle, please feel free to bring it.  It is always a treat to see the different tools people are using.

Bring your current, or recently finished, project for show and tell.  if you finished a "little loom" project please bring it.  We can't wait to see how those tapestries turned out!

Don't forget about the summer challenge.  If you want to participate, bring a skein of yarn to exchange. We'll do a random swap and you are challenged to incorporate your mystery yarn into a project of your own. Details are attached to the monthly email.
